The 3rd IEEE International Conference on Autonomic Computing Dublin, Ireland June 2006


To those requiring a visa to Ireland, please note that obtaining a visa to Ireland may take considerable time, so please apply for a visa way in advance. Accommodation


Montrose Hotel:


We have reserved a block of 40 rooms at the Montrose Hotel for the Monday (6/12) through Thursday (June 15) nights. But we were able to secure only 10 rooms for Sunday night (6/11). The rate at the Montrose, which is just over the road from UCD, is EUR93/night standard rooms. To make reservation at the Montrose, please complete and fax the Montrose Booking Form and fax directly to the hotel at +353 1 269 3376. The Deadline for guaranteeing the EUR93/night rate is May 1st, 2006. After that you will be charged the prevailing rate, if rooms are available.

UCD Residence

Glenomena student residences form a small village on the edge of the UCD Belfield campus, convenient for the conference. Accommodation is based around apartments with individual bedrooms, shared bathrooms and basic tea/coffee facilities. Food is available both off-campus and at the campus restaurants and cafes.
Rooms cost EUR70 per night. Please note that this is room-only: delegates are responsible for all their own meals.

To book a room, please e-mail icac-glenomena@topos.ucd.ie stating your name, affiliation, address, and the nights for which you require accommodation (Saturday 10th June - Saturday 17th June inclusive). We will issue you with a Paypal invoice by e-mail, and once this has been paid we will confirm your accommodation by e-mail. We accept payment by Paypal only, with all charges being settled in advance. We regret we are unable to accept credit card payments directly: however, Paypal works with all major credit cards.

The final date at which we can accept bookings is start of business Friday 2nd June.

On arrival at UCD you can contact the Glenomena Resident Assistant at +353 1 716 1030, who will be able to check you into your accommodation. If you do not have access to a mobile phone, please call-in to the welcome desk when you reach UCD (located at the Stillorgan Road Entrance) who will be able to contact the Resident Assistant on your behalf..
