Research: Content-based Retrieval


The central theme of our research on this subject is the Image Guided Decision Support system for diagnostic pathology, which integrates shape, area, and texture features extracted after color image segmentation. (See also topic: Robust analysis of visual data.) Efficient computation of similarity measures, comparative study of texture representations, some image compression related applications are also described.
