Welcome to SkiFree 3D.

SkiFree 3D is a 3d skiing simulation made using VRML and JAVASCRIPT. You are able to travel across the virtual landscape using a combination of 5DT Glove to control momentum and a mouse to control view. Moving the mouse to the direction you want to look, and the camera will follow your every move. If you want to go faster simple bring in your thumb, while completely relax it, while act as a break. Also your index finger controls your left movement while your middle finger controls your right. After some practice, the controls will become almost natural, and you will begin skiing the slopes with ease.

Now is the time to become aware of one's environment. Throughout the virtual terrain are obstacles such as trees. Be wary of a collision with these trees, or you might just be alter from your course, along with a gasp from the audience. But not all these trees are insurmountable. They are illusion protecting the lair of the mountain’s special inhabitant. He won’t hurt you if you enter his home, at worst he would sing you a little song and wave.
