GridMap/iZone Programming System for Sensor-driven Scientific Applications

We propose a programming system that provide programming abstractions and system software support for data driven applications in sensor-based pervasive environments. Particularly, we provide programming abstractions and runtime systems for integrating sensor systems with application processes in an end-to-end manner. We also provide efficient in-network computation/communication mechanisms for resource constrianed heterogeneous sensor networks, and support for tradeoff betwen data quality, resource consumption and performance.

Meteor A content-based middleware infrastructure for pervasive sensor-based applications.

Meteor provides services for content routing, content discovery and associative interactions. The Meteor stack consists of three key components: (1) a self-organizing content overlay; (2) a content-based routing and engine and discovery service, and (3) the Associative Rendezvous messaging substrate.
