Santa Croce was the richest church of its day. It has the tombs and burial
monuments of many influential people of the day such as Michelangelo,
Machiavelli and Dante.

and Ends The Piazza della Signoria is as I call it an out door museum, with a fountain of Neptune and Michelangelo's David among others standing inside of it. Unfortunately, the statue of David is now a replica and really stands in L' Academia museum. |

and Ends Another great restaurant that we happened to find along our journey, and quite possibly the best we have found. Uniquely named Ristorante, if you happen to find this place along your journey(in between The Piazza della Signoria and Santa Croce) stop in and enjoy some great Tuscan food. |
