Make Selection Ctrl-Click type layer in layer Palette. Save Selection
Select -> Save Selection
- Create a white layer beneath this layer.
Merge down. Filter ->Blur ->Gaussian Blur
- Filter -> Stylize -> Solarize
- Auto-level ; shift-ctrl L; duplicate this layer
- Polar coordinates. Filter -> Distort -> Polar
choose polar to rectangular
- Rotate canvas > 90 deg CW
- Invert image Ctrl-I
- Filter -> Sylize -> Wind 3 times
- Invert image again Ctrl-I + Auto-levels (shift-ctrl L) wind 3 times again
- Rotate canvas 90 deg CCW
- Filter -> Distort -> Polar Coordinates (Rectangular to polar)
- Change layer blend mode from current layer to screen
- create new layer; double click on linear gradient tool and choose preset violet orange; drag grad tool vertically across type area holding down shift; Invert Image Ctrl-I
- In layers palette change blend mode to color
- Filter -> Blur -> Radial Blur; choose Zoom blur increase to 66
- Make original type layer active; load previous selection (Selection -> Load Selection); choose Alpha 1 set foreground color to black then fill the selection with black (Option Alt Delete)
